Where Was the Light Measured? NuYOU360 Publishes Its Irradiance Testing Positions and Asks the Red Light Therapy Industry to Do the Same

"An irradiance number with no measurement position attached is not a specification. It is decoration. When a company will not tell you where it measured, that silence is not sophistication — it is strategy." — Dora Tzotchevska, Founder and CEO, NuYOU360 Ventures LLC

Arlington, VA, USA — September 11, 2026 — NuYOU360 Ventures LLC today published the full testing methodology behind the performance figures on its at-home red light therapy masks, and called on the category to adopt the same disclosure standard.

Irradiance, measured in milliwatts per square centimeter, is the figure most often cited to signal a device's capability. It is also the figure most easily inflated. The same mask can produce dramatically different numbers depending on where the measurement is taken — directly at the emitter surface, at a fixed laboratory distance, or at the face during actual wear. Very few brands say which one they used.

NuYOU360 says. The company's RADIANCE mask, priced at $409 and FDA Cleared under designation K242385, is measured at up to 50 milliwatts per square centimeter at the worn face. Its five wavelengths at 415, 590, 625, 830 and 1072 nanometers are delivered through a 400 LED array.

The $699 Contour PRO underwent independent testing that measured up to 100 milliwatts per square centimeter at the VCSEL zone, scanned across 36 separate positions on the worn face. Its 72 quad-chip VCSEL laser emitters operate at 460, 665, 850 and 1064 nanometers. The device is FDA registered with a 510(k) in progress, a status the company states plainly.

Regulatory language is subject to the same blurring. FDA registration and FDA clearance are distinct, and the difference is meaningful. NuYOU360 publishes which designation applies to which device, by name and number, and does not use one to imply the other.

The women this affects are not a niche. They are the twenty-five-year-old told that prevention already requires needles. The mother who cannot locate ten uninterrupted minutes. The woman in perimenopause watching her skin change and feeling her confidence move with it. The woman who removed skincare from the budget because nothing that seemed to work was priced for her life.

None of them is asking for a miracle. Each is asking for a number she can check.

NuYOU360 invites direct comparison. The company publishes wavelengths, emitter type and count, irradiance, measurement position, and exact regulatory status for every device it sells, and asks consumers to request the same from any brand at any price.
